Be Open

Discard the mindset that you will be right all the time. Those who admit their mistakes and are willing to learn from them are people who do well in the long run.

Be prepared to be wrong
Set aside time to read the newspaper or a journal. The more you read the more you'll be aware of current events and latest developments.

Share Information
Resist the urge to be stuck in your comfort zones. Step out, take up a challenge and try something you've never done before.
Be willing to try something new
We all have the same 24 hours. The difference lies in how we use each minute. So use it wisely.
Redeem the time

Look for a Smarter Way
When you have all kinds of information at your fingertips, quickly find out what you don't know and self educate.
Try not to say "I don't know"

Identify time wasters and spend minimal time on fruitless emails, etc. This will give you more time to put to productive use.
Avoid Timewasters

Shadow Others
Don't hesitate to start again and take another route. It takes courage to retract and admit it didn't work out.
